The End of Summer '23 Cash Back Promo (the “Promo”) allows qualifying investors to earn up to 2% cash back on investments made through the goPeer platform. Investments on the platform are made in the form of purchases of Payment Dependent Notes (the “Notes”), which to qualify must be committed to between August 25, 2023 at 12:00 a.m. and September 8, 2023 at 23:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
The cash back amount will be calculated based on the Note purchases (investments) made during the qualifying period as follows:
- $10 to $10,000 = 1% bonus
- $10,001 to $50,000 = 1.5% bonus
- Greater than $50,000 = 2% bonus
Example 1: You have $10,000 currently available in your goPeer wallet, and commit $6,000 into various Notes on the platform during the qualifying period. You will earn 1% on the $6,000 for a total cash back bonus of $60.
Example 2: You transfer $95,000 in your goPeer wallet, and commit $85,000 into various Notes on the platform during the qualifying period. You will earn 1% Cash Back bonus on the first $10,000, 1.5% Cash Back on the following $40,000, and 2% Cash Back on the remaining $35,000. The total cash back bonus earned in this example is $1,400, as detailed below:
- ($10,000 * 1%) = $100
- ($40,000 * 1.5%) = $600
- ($35,000 * 2%) = $700
How and when will I receive the Cash Back?
The Cash Back will be deposited directly into your goPeer wallet. You will receive your cash back bonus as the Notes activate (loans are issued) on the platform. You may choose to withdraw the award immediately or invest at no additional cost and without restrictions.
Which investments apply? Is there a maximum or a minimum investment amount?
All Note purchases completed through the goPeer platform, and which were committed to within the qualifying period are qualified and will be included automatically in the promotion.
The loans must be funded and activated in order to receive the cash back bonus. Any loan or Notes that are canceled or withdrawn are not eligible for the Promo, including those withdrawn or cancelled by the borrower or investor.
Any changes made to your Note commitments outside the promotional period will void the bonus benefit.
Example: You committed $1,000 into a particular Note on September 8, 2023. A day later, on September 9, 2023, you increase your commitment to $1,500. You will not be eligible to any bonus from the Promo on that Note, as the new commitment fell outside of the qualifying period. To avoid this, please ensure your investment commitment decisions are final prior to the end of the qualifying period.
Please note that if you cancel your investment following the qualifying period, you will lose the promotional award, even if you decide to reinvest into that same loan.
The minimum investment requirement is $10 per Note. There is no investment maximum threshold. The Promo is available for all Notes listed for funding on the goPeer platform.
How do I qualify for the promotion?
The Promo is available to persons that have a verified investor account in good standing with Peer Securities Corporation (goPeer), and for whom such Notes are a suitable investment as per securities regulations.
